Start Up - Pitching sessions

An entire conference session will be dedicated to the presentation of promising Start-ups working in the field of waste management.

The selected Start up projects that will take part in those pitching sessions, scheduled for the morning of Friday 6th 2017, h. 9:00 - 13:00 are:

1. LDAT (Landfill Degradation and Transport) Online 
2. Open waste compliance - Harmonising waste management compliance data through Pan-European Open Data Framework
3. Quadcopter for garbage collection
4. The application of UAVs in restoration and landfill biogas monitoring
5. Unitech Resource & Energy Recovery System (URERS) Facility

The event will be coordinated by Stefano Carosio, the managing director of Unismart Padova Enterprise, the technology transfer and innovation management consulting in-house company of the University of Padova.

During the Symposium, a StartUp corner will be set up in the Commercial Exhibition Hall where the selected StartUPS will advertise their ideas and projects in a dedicated area to an unrivalled, highly-targeted audience.


StartUPS will have the chance to:
• present business proposition to companies, public administrations and private investors 
• meet new partners 
• launch new services 
• find potential investors 
• explore the funding opportunities provided by Horizon 2020
• partner with leading industrial and research players attending the event.
